Die Groovekraft, die diese Band aus Wuppertal erzeugt ist einfach nicht mehr normal. BUT WE TRY IT servieren ein fieses Gebräu nach dem man süchtig wird. Das punktgenaue Geballer macht keinerlei Gefangene. BWTI verstehen es gekonnt, ihre dicken Riffwände mit kernigen Breaks, griffigen Melodien und schlau eingesetzten Moshparts zu durchsetzen.

BUT WE TRY IT wurden Anfang 2008 gegründet. Im Dezember bestand das Quintett seine Feuertaufe auf der Bühne zusammen mit Dead Flesh Fashion. 2009 haben sich BWTI in NRW durch zahlreiche Gigs einen Namen erspielt. Man teilte sich die Bühne mit zahlreichen unterschiedlichen Bands wie Cryptopsy, First Blood, Valient Thorr, Final Prayer, Nasty, A Traitor Like Judas, Zero Mentality und noch einigen mehr.

Die aufstrebenden BUT WE TRY IT veröffentlichten am 17.4.09 ihre erste, selbst betitelte Demo-EP. Aufgenommen und gemixt wurden die Songs zwischen Oktober 2008 und Januar 2009 im eigenen Mad Max Studio in Wuppertal.

Denn Januar 2010 stehen dann die Aufnahmen zu ihrem Debütalbum "DEAD LIGHTS" in den renommierten Woodhouse Studios in Hagen unter der Leitung von Siggi Bemm an, der schon Bands wie Caliban, Lacuna Coil und Samael zum richtigen Sound verholfen hat. Für die Vorproduktion konnte kein geringerer als Waldemar Sorychta (Enemy Of The Sun, Grip Inc., Eyes of Eden) verpflichtet werden, der schon Bands wie Tiamat, Voodoocult, Lacuna Coil und Moonspell zu einzigartigen, international anerkannten Alben verhalf.

Von den fünf Jungs wird man also noch eine ganze Menge hören! Denn sie werden es nicht nur versuchen, sondern auch schaffen!

The force this band from Wuppertal/Germany generates is simply beyond normal. BUT WE TRY IT serve up a mean concoction that's addictive. Their blistering beats are on point and take no prisoners. BUT WE TRY IT have mastered the art of blending their wall-of-sound guitars with wicked breaks, palatable melodies and cleverly inserted mosh parts.

BUT WE TRY IT was founded early 2008, and by December the quintett gave their stage debut together with Dead Flesh Fashion. 2009 the band made a name for themselves throughout the state, playing alongside bands such as Cryptopsy, First Blood, Valient Thorr, Final Prayer, Nasty, A Traitor Like Judas, Zero Mentality and others.

Their recently released self-titled demo (out 04/17/09) features six songs. Recording and mixing was done between October 2008 and January 2009 in the band's own MadMax Studio in Wuppertal.
